Psychotherapy

The Eugene Center for Mindful Living offers individual, couple, and family therapy, addressing concerns that include depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, couple and family communication, school and work problems, stress management, and adjustment to life cycle transitions. Our therapists integrate mindfulness based practices into our work with clients when appropriate.  Mindfulness based approaches have been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of depression and anxiety, and can help promote effective communication, stress management, and well-being.

Classes

Classes at the Eugene Center for Mindful Living integrate education about mindfulness with experiential learning, creating opportunities for individual and professional growth. These include: Coping with Chronic Illness, The Mindful StudentCultivating Everyday Mindfulness, and Attention Lab: Befriending ADD.  We also offer our Weekly Meditation Group to current clients.

Consultation

Research shows increasing self-awareness through mindfulness can improve attention and focus, compassion, and communication. We integrate education about mindfulness with experiential learning to create opportunities for individual and professional growth, catered specifically to your organization’s goals and structure. Consultation with K-12 teachers and administrators, university personnel and students, sororities and fraternities, businesses, and healthcare settings are all offered by the Center.
