Mary Beth Llorens, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist

I work with clients to facilitate a deeper and more fulfilling engagement with their life, those they care about, and the world. In collaboration with the client, I encourage his or her unique capacity for self-healing. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including somatic, expressive, and imagery work, depth psychology, cognitive-behavioral and gestalt techniques, interpersonal process, EMDR, meditation and mindfulness, and spiritual exploration. I am a certified TRE (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) practitioner.

I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. I also have an M.A. in secondary education from the University of Missouri and a B.A. in mathematics from Smith College. I did my internship at the University of Oregon Counseling Center. I have been practicing since 1997 and licensed in Oregon since 2001.
