Students face a variety of issues, including time management, performance pressures, finances, and career decision-making. Relationships, substance use, body image, and sexuality can also be areas of concern during this time. Managing anxiety and depression as well as other mental health concerns can require support.
The practice of mindfulness can assist in decreasing stress and anxiety, improving concentration and attention, and increasing self-awareness and emotional well-being.
At Eugene Center for Mindful Living, UO and LCC students are a special focus. We welcome students to participate in individual counseling and/or classes. Our meditation and mindfulness classes are designed to support you during this challenging time of personal growth. Couple and family therapy is also available to students seeking relational counseling.
